Fighting for our Anoka County values
End Fraud. Empower Minnesotans.
It is an honor to represent the place I’ve spent most of my life. House District 31A includes my childhood home in western Andover. It includes the vegetable farm where I had my first job bunching radishes for several summers. And the district encompasses the city of Ramsey, where Jen and I chose to raise our kids since 2009.
Like most Minnesotans, I want a government that empowers all of us, not a government that controls us. I want government that keeps us safe, treats us fairly, and leaves us free.
Instead, in my first term I fought back against a one-party government that exploded the size and scope of state government by growing state spending by almost 40% in one budget cycle. When the 2024 election results ended in a tie in the Minnesota House, I was honored to be elected to a top leadership position, where I was able to work even more effectively for our community and the future of our state. I stood for the values of our community, while working across the aisle at a time when bipartisan solutions were the only way forward for our state.
If we do it right, we can have a state government that keeps Minnesota free and safe, so Minnesotans can prosper through the work of their families, businesses, and community groups. Government that empowers you to live your best life, not government that controls you and dictates what you can do, say, and believe. That is what I am working for in St. Paul, and I’m asking for your support to continue that service.
